Milk Source Genetics is the winner of the prestigious Premier Exhibitor Banner at the World Dairy Expo 2009 in both the Black/White Holstein and Red/White Holstein shows.  A multi-banner winner has not been achieved since 1976 when Pinehurst Dairy, Sheboygan Falls, WI won both the Holstein and Ayrshire shows.
 
Premier Exhibitor Banners are awarded based on a cumulative point system for each exhibitor’s top six animals.  Milk Source Genetics showed 11 head of cattle in the International Black & White Holstein show and 9 head in the Grand International Red & White show. “We are honored and surprised by our achievement this year,” said Jim Ostrom, Partner in Milk Source Genetics.

World Dairy Expo, an annual trade show and dairy cattle show that attracts more than 64,000 attendees from around the globe, takes place at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. The 2009 show ran September 29 through October 3.
