Queen

Aubrey Kohls

The new WI Brown Swiss Queen for 2009 is Aubrey Kohls. Aubrey is from Gillett, WI and currently owns three Brown Swiss. They are kept at her dad’s farm, which is milking 225 Holsteins. She keeps track of registration and helps with field work. She is a freshman at UW-Green Bay and majoring in Social Work. In high school, Aubrey earned her State FFA Degree, competed in dairy judging events, played volleyball and was a member of jazz, concert, and marching band playing the trumpet and French horn. She shows her Brown Swiss at the County and State Fairs and the High Protein Show. The Brown Swiss Queen should have a well-rounded understanding of the breed as well as demonstrating enthusiasm and dedication. She should be a role model for others but also a great communicator. After all, the Queen is representing a breed along with the people behind it.

2010 Wisconsin Brown Swiss Queen Application
Anyone interested in running for Queen at the 2010 annual meeting should complete and submit this application or contact Kara Kasten-Olson at 608-445-2010.
